With no end to the Pandemic, being a small business owner continues to be a challenge! So, I wanted to focus my February Newsletter on fellow small business owners to show support. No one knows better than I do as to what it takes to operate a small business. Ironically, this did not come easily for me, which I assumed it would have, with over 20 years of experience running multi-million-dollar companies. The difference is I had legions of people to delegate and execute what I needed and now it’s just me! One thing that has always served me well is “That you are only as good as your people”. So as my business began to grow, I started partnering with both local and national small business owners to help me make your experience the absolute best.  Check out just a few of my favorites.

All Good Things Bakery Tryon – Jessica is the real deal when it comes to creative and beautiful deserts. Her positive energy and passion make working with her so much fun. Many of the ideas developed for my clients are special make-ups based on old school deserts or a riff on a classic. Having her as a partner has allowed me to expand my bread baking and savory offerings.

Katie D’s NY Bagels and Deli Tryon – Katie provides all the Boars Heads Premium Deli Meats I use for the protein packs and salads. She is also a huge help with my boxed lunch programs. Her bagels are the real deal and all her soups, salads and desserts are scratch made. Need catering… she can make it happen from bagel brunches, deli trays, dinners and boxed lunches.

Chile Revival – The Hatch Red Chile Powder has been a game changer for my chilis, enchiladas, soups and spice rub grilled chicken. The flavor profile hits all the notes smoky, earthy and sweet. Bonus they have amazing recipes.

Farmgirl Flowers – Flower bouquets are a signature of mine in your boxes! I’m so spoiled in the spring and summer as my friend Corrie of Corrie’s Garden has the most amazing herbs and wild flowers in the area.  Check out her Instagram, her photography is so beautiful. But alas, there are several months I have to source elsewhere and Farmgirl Flowers is my go to for the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen delivered.
